Welcome to the snob awards site. I started this simply because I thought there needed to be some new ideas in the RPG community; people needed to start exploring things, not just new cutting edge layouts, but the plots and things needed some "spice" you might say. Most awards sites promote being safe: helping those who are new to the world of RPG. Don't get me wrong: that's a good thing. But if too many people help those whom are just getting started and not those who are there already, there will become a lack of advanced players. I know of many who have left because of this, and feel it is time we start acknowledging those who are helping these players. This doesn't mean if you have a site that helps new people into the world of RPG you won't get anywhere in this award system: it just means your site has to be helping your TARGET AUDIENCE, which is what it's all really about.

Why call it S N O B? Well, that's a good question. I like snobs, personally, I find them humourous and, yes, I admit, I am a wanabe snob. I think if your site gets a good rating on my terms, then you deserve to be a bit snobbish. It just seems fitting. Also, if you got a "S N O B" award, wouldn't that be cool???!!!! Hey, I got 93% on the SNOB awards, BEAT THAT! yea... that's why. Please, don't feel offended or scared by the name. I just thought it would be cool, that's all. ^_^!

23 January 2006 - I am desperate for help here guys, please read my chat page for the staff wanted info, and please apply! I know I have a strict application process, but that makes it better for me and better for the site... I will also open another part of the site in the future called "Savvy Says" It will be kinda a help desk for people who have questions they feel are stupid or whatever, anything about running, owning or making a RPG work, or even a character for that matter. I WILL NOT tutor, if you want that please go to THE BOOK CASE. That's all folks.
